Napoleon gas units are often built in several sizes and versions, and for natural gas (NG) or propane (LP). Parts are not always interchangeable between them, so check the full model number and fuel type on your rating plate before you order.
Finding your model and serial number
On most Napoleon gas fireplaces and inserts the rating plate is behind the lower louver or valve access panel, often on a chain near the gas valve. On free-standing gas stoves it is usually on the back. It lists the model number, serial number and whether the unit is set up for natural gas or propane. Can’t find it or can’t read it?
